Any parent out there that has seen the Duracell commercial with the Brickhouse Child Locator probably got a bit nervous like I did. You know the one, the lady at the park and her kid is missing and she whips out this device that locates him. It peaked my interest in protecting my kids with such a device. Well I did my research and that particular device really didn't score very well when compared to other options.
I thought I would share with other parents on what I found after a days worth of research.

I'm really impressed with this device. I really look into products and what others are offering. It looks like they put a lot of thought into this device. They are releasing the new 2g version in April 2009 and I'm going to be ordering one for my 4 year old son. Just need to train him not to leave it somewhere or press the SOS button all the time....lol
